Yet he comes up all the time on here and on twitter. And usually to get attacked by those who want to blame a 19/20 year old for not being a premiership regular. Time for a step back imo.

He's still young. See how he develops over the next 18 months then take a view. There's no need to sell, no need to panic, no need to rush to judgement, he's just another young player, and still one with a lot of raw potential.

When I saw the U23s beat City away 1-5 I went to the OS to see if there was any news, nothing.. what it did have was a video of when we played City at home and lost 4-6
Oxford played and his attitude stunk the place out....as if he shouldn't be playing at that level...sulking like a big kid

Haven't you seen the thread down the page? We've discussed this prick ad infinitum. The way he's been playing this season for the u23s shows clearly he's nowhere near the first team and his attitude appears to stink the place out.
His loan spell at Reading proved he won't make the grade at a high level.Jaap Stam was a top centre back and he quickly decided Oxford wasnt good enough for the Championship.
Sullivan thinks he can get a few million from a mug German club. I doubt that very much.

its clear to me he's not good enough and doesn't put in the work rate to improve otherwise he'd be challenging ogbonna for that CB position like Diangana is challenging more established players
His last appearances against league 1 shrewsbury were awful, oxford was one of the worst players on the pitch and in those games he should be shining just like Diangana did against macclesfield

20 is far too early to write him off, but we do have a tendency as a club to overhype young players. I don’t think it helps a young player to be treated like the next big thing when they’re still a child.
A lot will respond by believing that they’ve already made it and don’t need to work too hard, when in reality they’re a long way off being the finished product.
